Still can't believe it

There are so many things in my life right now that boggle my mind!
First off I am in the dental hygiene program and working on patients!
It freaks me out like you would not believe!
I have to work on complete strangers because I have no family down here to work on.
good thing St. George is full of retired people that have nothing better to do!
(side note speaking of old people, literally 90% of the people in my ward are over the age of 85! I wish you could all see the cute lady who leads the music in Relief Society! She knows the words to literally every hymn and gets up there with her arms just a waving and sings with so much enthusiasm! its cute)

anywho back to school....
So while it is stressful as it is, we have to find patients that meet certain requirements! WTF?!
how the heck am I supposed to find these people?
But wanna know a secret?
good!
My mom is so sweet and is taking off pretty much a whole week of work just to come down and be my patient! I AM SO EXCITED! I don't think she realizes what she got herself into, but its too late now for her to back out because she has agreed to it and I would freak out if she bailed!

Next Item of business that boggles my mind
I'm married!
Wait? What? Married?
exactly the thoughts that run through my head still! granted its only been like a month and a half! But I love it! I love cuddling up to him every night and putting my freezing cold toes all wrapped up in his legs so he can warm them up! I love that as soon as my alarm goes off in the morning he gives me a kiss and rolls right back over and zonks out. I love! love! LOVE not saying goodbye at night! I even convinced him to get gym passes with me and some mornings we get up way earlier than either of us wanna be and go work out before class! He taught me to play Nazi zombies, which by the way is super fun and very addicting! Pretty much what I am getting at is that I am still head over heels in love and can't get enough of him!
Here are a few pics from out wedding day!

2 weeks

and I'll be waking up as Mrs. Evans!

I ask Taylor all the time "when we held hands back in 8th grade did you ever think we would be getting married?" or "when you saw me for the first time when you got off your mission did you think you would marry me?"

Clearly I am in shock that I am so lucky to be marrying such an amazing person! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to not say goodbye every night! I also won't have to wait till 11 o'clock every night to see him! I'll get him first thing when I wake up, morning breath and all! I can't believe after 8 years I am finally getting what every little girl dreams of, My Happily ever after!

Taylor is so cute and I know he reads my blog, so babe I love you!! I can't wait to be sealed to you for time and all eternity! Thank you for putting up with me when I am the crazy fiance just crying over nothing. Thank you for holding onto me tight when I try to get away. Thank you for the cute notes I find in random places. Thank you for being willing to do anything for me! Thank you for bringing me lunch! Thank you for being my patient in clinic! Thank you for all the laughter you bring into my life! Thank you for making me a better person! Thank you for the great example you are. Thank you for giving me a chance when you got home!
I am the luckiest girl in the world!

xoxo, Toree

Random this and thats

Well Taylor had to go to bed SUPER early to get up at 4:30 in the freakin AM! Miserable!
which leaves me with nothing to do for an hour or so... so I will jot down a few things on my mind..
~Well it turns out my camera is deader than a door nail and my charger has been misplaced, so that's not great!
~School is going well, studying takes up 90% of the time.. The other 10% is split between sleeping (probably the majority) eating, and spening time with Taylor. I feel bad for Taylor, I am such a nerdy pants and he is porbably wondering what he got himself into.. 2 years is all babe..
~ Speaking of Taylor, he is the best! He is so sweet and pretty darn good lookin! I am one lucky gal I tell ya. He puts up with a lot from me, and still loves me!
~ Got 100% on my first two test in the dental hygiene program! I bomb my quizzes in histology/embryology each week though. I hate, hate, double hate, ENTIRELY LOATH learning about cells! It is so stupid and puts me to sleep. I hated learning about them the first time and I STILL hate learning about them now. There is clearly a reason I pushed that mumbo jumbo outta my brain in the first place, its BORING! Also concerning tests and quizzes, I have three tests next week, and 3 quizzes.. BOOOOO SCHOOL!!!
~Next fun fact, the temple has been booked! December 17, 2011 St. George temple, I become Mrs. Evans, finally!
~The "rents" are coming down this weekend. I love when Ma and Pa come to visit...a good time is always had. Not to mention I had a small freak out last weekend because I was homesick. So I am happy they are coming.
~Today I did baptisms for the dead. Go ahead and ask me how many times I was baptized.. ok.. "Hey Toree, how many times were you baptized?"
Oh funny you should ask that.. 60!! apparently not very many people went today.. I was told I made 60 new friends! not to mention the 20 or so confirmations I did. so NBD, I made me a whole buncha friends today!
~Saw The Help... Loved it...
~Quick question.. How Do you get the banners at the top of your blog with pictures in them? they are so cute, but I am not the best on a computer.. is it hard?

Ok well that is all the fun facts I will bore you with today.. I will show you a few pictures of recent happenings thought....

A little late....But this is how it happened

Well as most of you know
I'M ENGAGED!!
Seriously I couldn't be happier!
I have waited A LONG TIME FOR THIS!!
and finally I can marry my best friend!
So here is the story of how he asked me.....fair warning its kinda long....
Well to start off let me give you a little back ground info.....
Way back in the 8th grade we went to classic skating with our ward for YM and YW. That's where we first held hands and the next day he "asked me out." hahaha!
So on Friday night he text me and said wanna go on a date with someone. I was a little confused and text back and said If that someone is you than yes. All he said was luckily for you, it is me. He then proceeded to tell me that we were going to wingers for dinner but be ready at 2 for our date...So Saturday rolls around and he went to ER because there was something wrong with his foot. so he finally comes and picks me up and we head to Ogden. There was one rule givin "no asking questions" So we go to Ogden and he just looks really confused and I ask him what he is looking for.. "no questions!" So I sit back and watch him panic. He then tells me well classic skating used to be here, but now its not. But he made me tell him why it was significant, and I gave a smart answer like "its where you first knew you loved me" haha. As of right now he is kinda starting to panic and I am laughing really really hard.
"plan 2" he tells me. We head to Nickel Cade, I guess we went there before he left on his mission..I don't really recall this but hey it was fun/funny and I wont complain. After we have spent all our nickels we take our tickets and all I wanted was candy with them of course. So he got some silly glasses and I got tootsie rolls. **side note he kept calling/texting his mom so I kinda knew something was up.**
We are now headed home and we are driving up 1100 south and he says do you need to use the bathroom? haha...no.... But he apparently does. Remember we were supposed to go to wingers for dinner? But he pulls of into Chevron to use the bathroom.. aka go call his mom...so the adventure continues, and we head up the canyon.
"I thought we were going to Wingers"
"No questions"..pause.... "I didn't tell you which Wingers"
Then I'm annoyed because I was hungry and there was a perfectly good Wingers a mile back but whatever. We head up the canyon and he pulls off in Mantua then into the campground. He looks even more confused now than he did in Ogden so I crack a joke like "are ya still looking for Classic Skating?" funny right? He didnt think so...so he stops and I was pretty sure I just saw his dad drive away, but didnt say anything. We get out and there was a chinese food candle light dinner set up for us! YUM!! Once dinner was over I was kinda getting nervous for some reason. I was pretty sure he was asking me and I dunno I just had butterflies.
**side note, For prom our Junior year he asked me with fortune cookies**
So he opens his fortune cookie and then hands me mine...I open it "Will you marry me"
So I turned and looked at him and he was down on one knee and asked me and I said
"OF COURSE!!!!"
He is so darn cute I can barely stand it! I am the luckiest girl in the world I tell ya!
We are getting married December 17th in the St. George Temple! We are both SO excited about that. We talked about getting married there all the time our first year of college but then I was nervous about how hard it would be for everyone to get down here. OH WELL! We are doing it and I am beyond ecstatic!

My ring is beautiful! I love it!

he is so relieved it was over! He was so nervous, like I was gonna say no or something

I can't wait for all the adventures we will have babe! I love you so much and you mean the world to me!

Guess who is home?!

Taylor!! <3
I was beyond nervous for him to get home!! Not to mention he was 45 minutes late to meet me! I almost left but his mom called and told me he was on his way. When he pulled up I panicked and just screamed while my dad sat and laughed at me! "Who is answering the door?!" "What do I do?!" "I dunno what to do!" Those are the types of things I was screaming and he told me to go to the back porch and sit with the dog :) SO....I did.
He answered the door in a very calm and collected way I am sure, then I heard the door open and my heart stopped! By this point I have stressed myself out to the point of being sick. Well I actually managed to do that for about two weeks straight till he got home. But it was fine! Taylor gave me the biggest hug ever and I was in heaven!!
He were pretty much connected at the hip the whole weekend and everything was wonderful! We went hiking, to a party at Kate's, boating, a drive in, and guess what? I even sat by him at church! And you can bet your bottom dollar rumors were flying by the time church was over!
Unfortunately I had to drive back to St. George that Sunday and it was slightly miserable knowing he was in BC still with no phone and we didn't have much of a way to communicate.

BUT! I drove back up Thursday and spent all weekend with him again. This weekend was not quite as eventful but still great! I loved every minute of being with him! We did go to temple square and Cafe rio! One thing I do know, my body is not used to the late nights that's for sure! 10:30 would roll around and I was ready to sleep! He did have some good chats in the hammock. (spelling) Everytime we would sit in it I would laugh hysterically because I just kept imagining it breaking and us falling SO hard to the ground. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile! He didn't find in near as funny as I did, oh well, it was! Don't let him tell you differently!
He gave his homecoming talk Sunday and did so good! I was very impressed! It was also great to see some of his family I haven't seen for awhile. He is seriously so amazing and I love spending time with him! Then of course I had to drive back to St. George :( it was harder than the first time to leave. I just keep telling myself I made it two years without him, whats a week right?!
The good news is that he will be here on Friday with my family for the 4th of July and then We leave for Lake Powell Tuesday. This is gonna be a test to see of we can really handle each other for eternity ;) We are both slightly nervous to be with each other for 11 straight days. I will have to let you know how it goes!

So this one time...

Fair warning, this is a long post with a lot of writing!

Well the night before Lou moved back to good ol' BC we convinced her to go hike the narrow crack(ish) thing that is up by Dixie rock with us. She really didn't want to go but we miraculously guilted her into it, on one condition! We have her back by 10 so she can study and finish packing!! SO we head for the hills, K actually the are cliffs. we get there and its still kinda light which we are not used to so Linds and I feel like we are going the wrong direction. luckily Whit knows what he's doing and tells us to zip it because we are making Lou nervous. so we start making our way through the crack and it is always a question on whether or not by boobs are gonna fit, THEY DID, another successful trip through! Well we get through, and of course take pictures! It's funny because I will pull faces all night long if the camera is going so that's exactly what I did! you just wait and see. Whit would laugh every time because he couldn't see what I was doing till the flash went off. so we finally start heading back down, Note, we are going down a new way. We didnt want to go back through the crack so we are attempting to just hike out. we are making good progress, when all of a sudden a car pulls up and the spot light is going. We were all like SHOOT! We always kinda figured we weren't supposed to be up there past dark but didn't think much about it. so we duck and are trying to figure out if we wait it out till he leaves, keep in mind we promised to have Lou back by 10! so after about 5 minutes of waiting we decide to just keep heading down. we made it to the road and so it kinda looked like we just walked up that way but when the cop saw us he made us wait by the car till he could come talk to us. Turns out you can't be up there past dusk, who would have thought? HA! By now we, we meaning the girls, are kinda starting to get nervous. None of us really wanted a trespassing ticket, not to mention Linds has a speeding ticket she hasn't paid! So he sends us back to the car and he is making sure none of us have any warrants, HAHAHA! Linds was really starting to panic now, but she must have been fine because he didnt even give us a warning! Just told us to leave and not be up there past dark again. Now the funny part is that there was a car parked by us, and unfortunately lover boy in that car was in the back seat with his girlfriend! While we were sitting there he waved kinda like shiz this sucks, I just laughed and waved back. So maybe they got tickets, maybe not. But how awkward is that! It was a great last memory to make with Lou and she wasnt even mad about us getting her home late!

See what I mean, I could take pictures for hours and be entertained!

Also can I tell you how sad I am that Lou is gone! I miss coming home everyday and yelling "lucy Lou!" and her laughing and saying "what" everyday! She is such a fun roommate and we always laugh when we are together. I dunno how she puts up with me. Let's be honest here, I'm really annoying, I will yell or make noises just to hear myself, and not once did she get mad! She always told me how weird I was, but we all knew that anyway! I dunno how I ever survived without Lou in my life! she is seriously SO great!

And last but not least I moved into a town house with some of my best friends! I share a room with linds right now and it is great! I like being able to talk to someone at night. It still doesn't feel like I have moved in because I was ALWAYS here before so I am still adjusting! But I will love it! This is my one of my favorite pictures of Linds and I! Enjoy!

ok one LAST thing! This cute boy will be home in like 5 weeks! How crazy is that! remember how bad my life sucked two years ago at this time?! My oh my how time has flown!

The Fab 5

I have made the BEST friends in the world down here in St. George and we have made of the best memories. We call ourselves the "Fab 5" and seriously we are Fabulous! There is never a dull moment when we are together. Even if we are sitting around the table we are laughing and having so much fun. One of our members, Lindsey, has been called on a mission to Seattle, Washington speaking Spanish and will report to the MTC June 22, 2011. We have to fit so much fun in, in these next few months. We don't have near enough time. We made a bucket list yesterday of things we are gonna do before she leaves. Before I tell you our bucket list let me show you some pictures of our adventures!
Up on the D
Whit, Me, Trum, Linds

Hiking the Narrows, Whit's first night.
Linds, Trum, Me, Whit

Me, Stef, and Linds on Stef's bed one Sunday Afternoon

Whit, Linds, Me up on Foremaster
At the Grand Canyon!
Linds, Me, Trum, Burkleu, Dally, Whit State Line watching a movie Foremaster eating pizza obviously My personal Favorite!

Now for the "Fab 5" bucket list:
-Home Town weekend. This is the one I am most excited about. The five of us are going to go up north and stay at Lindsey's, Stef's, and my house and meet our families because spend everyday with the Bundy Family. Which is great! We are starting to love being on the farm.
-We are going to sleep on the tramp
-Trum and Whit are gonna teach us to dance (they are good!) Its like the waltz and swing type dancing! Linds and I are super excited!
-We are going to go camping
-Go out to the ranch again! The first weekend we went there is one of my favorite memories we have made. The boys grandpa was there and he teased them constantly! Now they know how we feel!
-Of course we are gonna watch at least one more movie out on the state line
-skeet shooting
That's all I remember, but I believe there is more. I am so excited to do all these things! We have seriously only been hanging out everyday for like a month, but if you hung out with us you would think we have been the best of friends forever. Here are a few reasons why we love our lives: We all have nicknames, we are super honest with each other ( feelings do get hurt occasionly, but give it 5 minutes and everything is fine.) We are DRAMA FREE!! I think that is why we make the best group ever. Every night at least one of us says "our lives are the best" then we all agree and talk about how great we are (hahahaha!) We give each other random facts from string cheese wrappers, we don't just sit on our butts, we are out and about doing things. the list really could go on forever!
Here are our latest pictures! They are all up in the Red Rocks!

So Whit, Trum, Stef, and Linds! You guys are the best and I love every minute of being "us"!! Thanks for all the memories! and I am sure I will blog more about us and our fun, but that is all for now!
